Gynecologist, specialist in vaginal ecology and homeopath.
Education: Latvian Academy of Medicine; residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU); doctoral studies at RSU on vaginal immunogenetics. She undertook clinical training and doctoral studies in the Division of Immunology and Infectious Diseases, Department of Gynecology, at Weill Medical College of Cornell University in the United States. Her doctoral dissertation work continues in Latvia.
Guiding principle: “When consulting patients, I try to understand the body as a whole rather than considering each organ separately. I believe that a doctor must keep learning throughout life, so I regularly attend conferences and seminars in Latvia and abroad. And I generally live by the thought: ‘Don’t complicate simple things!’”
